DIY details personalize wedding
You never know where you are going to meet your future spouse…and Sarah and Gregg were no different when they headed out for a hockey game one night. Clearly after spending the wedding day with them, they were meant for each other. They could not have displayed more happiness.
The wedding was a perfect DIY example. Sarah handmade all of the floral elements. She even grew some of the flowers that were used in the bouquets. Gregg incorporated Scottish elements into many details. His tartan colors were evident in his tie and cuff links. Then, his boutonniere had a purple thistle in it, which is the official flower of Scotland.
Into the program they had built similar shapes from the chapel windows and architecture. The dinner menu also mimicked the same design as the large stain glass window in the reception room. All of the food at the reception was served family style, which was something different and fun. Sarah and Gregg’s families had a lot of fun dancers…Gregg’s parents were out there most of the night.
CONGRATULATIONS Sarah and Gregg!
