A TRADITIONAL INDIAN PITHI
On the second day of the festivities, the bride and groom are separated. For Vaishal, the Pithi began early on Saturday morning at the home of the his parents. The Pithi is a series of ceremonies that concludes with the groom being covered in an orange paste by his friends and family. Once again, we watched in awe as the traditions unfolded. We were also amazed at how closely we could photograph and were encouraged to be an intimate part of the event.
